Father in Heaven
please help us
to see through your eyes
Don’t let us falter
Keep us from temptation
help us to see through his lies
Fill us with wisdom and strength
It’s hard to...
answer when you call
And we may stumble
but we will not fall...
...because,
We are the church
we are one in the Spirit
with fire and power and might
We are the bride
we will keep the lamps burning
Till Jesus returns to be by our side.
He tries to tell us that
we are just wasting our time
Reading our Bibles
He tries to sell us
a world full of riches and lies
But we will not bow down to him
It’s hard to see through his disguise
But we won’t fall
for his tricks or his lies...
...because,
We are the church we are one in the Spirit
with fire and power and might
We are the bride; we will keep the lamps burning
Till Jesus returns to be by our side.
And He will return...
...to take home His bride
